When my Audi gets out of the body shop, I'm going to treat my car to some new wheels.
Car is a 2008 Audi A4 S-Line. Here is an extremely old picture of it. Since that picture, I have de-badged it.
The previous owner was a not-so-good parker, and the two curb side wheels are beat to hell. Also after 85,000 miles from him and 5,000 from me, brake dust is caked on for good, and I need some input.
Those are the wheels I currently have.
So far, RH Cuprad Zw4 is my top contender. But damn expensive
Harttman Euromesh is the next possibility
And finally, Bbs Ch. If they weren't so damn pricey.

I like the 2nd wheel the most. But then, the 2nd wheel looks like your current wheel, just with an increased diameter and in a different color

Yeah, brake dust is a bitch to get off my current wheels, so I might pass on the Harttman Euromesh.

Y U NO MODEL OR WHEEL SIZE!?
Assuming you stick with 17" wheels the CH's should look good.

What kind of budget do you have? Are you going to get in the stock size and re-use the tires or will you also need tires?

Probably for both. I'd prefer to keep it on the low end though.

You better. Mine are the same color, but I don't notice the brake dust a lot. Unless I clean one particular bit and miss a spot, I can hardly tell.

Hmm, I'm stuck. Either get the car some new shoes. Or some Plasti Dip, and a project car.

Yeah, the current wheels are mildly strange looking. A project would be fun, but I do need nicer wheels, and a little moar low.

Keep in mind that those are "hyper silver" which generally has a little more bling to it than regular silver painted wheels. It's still paint so not as blingy as a polished or chrome wheel, but just as an example here's a pic of the 949 Racing 6UL wheels I had on my old Miata with a similar finish.

Those wheels look nice Haha. I'm not one for bling though. First order of business is to rip all the chrome off my car.

Haha, close they are Rota Grids, so Volk TE37 replicas. Pretty cheap, and they work pretty well. Are you going to be tracking or autocrossing?

Yeah the pic of the Raijins doesn't really show the "hyper" finish right so wanted to make sure you had a good idea of what they look like. Here are some better shots. I don't think they're too blingy (granted, we've already established that I've owned wheels with a similar finish) but that's up to you.

Occasionally. With my old car, I did all the time. I'm getting some performance parts in, so I'm going to be doing more Track/Autocross.
jkm7680

That looks nice. They don't look overly shiny, so that's good.

I guess it depends on how much you trust the wheels. I am getting a set of Rotas as summer wheels for autocrossing, tracking, and daily driving. If you have a bigger budget go look at other things, I on the other hand am trying to save money. They are used by race teams though. . .

Yeah, Better for the wallet would be best. Thanks for the tips, Rota makes good products I hear, so I might fall for some.

I might lower it slightly, but no stance for me.

Haha, According to the website, 60 extra Hp, 295 Torque. Only issue is I'd have to buy a downpipe also.

295 Lb of Torque after the tune I think. Stock is 207. Should be some good gains.
